Winter Cheer, Vacation is Almost Here!

Dear Parents,

I can’t believe we are looking at only a week and three days left in the fall semester!  This will be the last formal newsletter of 2018. I have loved and enjoyed seeing your child learn and grow each day.  This week we had many hands on learning experiences with soil in science, completing our rough drafts on our biographies, planning a dream vacation, and reviewing capitalization rules.  Not to mention programming robots to explore other planets in Robolab!

While you are out shopping around and running errands over the holidays, consider replenishing some of your child’s supplies that get used frequently: pencils, glue sticks, colored pencils, kleenex, and anything else your child may say they are running low on.

UPCOMING DATES
December 13 - Singing Stars caroling
December 19 - Winter Holiday Party at 2:00pm (please, no younger siblings)
January 8 - Back to school in 2019!

UNITS OF STUDY
Reading - Biography Report
Writing - Revising and Editing Biography Report
Spelling - Week 11 homework due Thursday, test on Friday

Have a wonderful end to 2018 spending it with your family!
